Athletes Sync.
This section contains way to synchronise different Member Association (MA) database entries with Ianseo. You will need to have selected a lookup table in the competition setup for the correct MA then various options will appear.
For instance with the Archery GB lookup table, you can tick 'Country/Club flags/Logos' and press the Sync Athlete File button and it will retrieve all the club flags for the currently loaded participating clubs.

List Load (SpreadSheet Import)
This screen is helpful to load a lot of participants in at once from a spreadsheet.
On the left there is a large box, with the option to upload a file under it
In the middle there is a list of columns in order for the spreadsheet/csv file
to the right there is some options for special uploads, rad the information for them and use with care, again if unsure on this contact your reference person.
Only the first four items in the sheet are mandatory if the federation has a sync database. however you may choose to fill in up to 15/16 in the list. going further if the items are required.
- To upload a group of people, create a spreadsheet with the columns as per the middle bit of data
- once you have the data copy from the spreadsheet into the big white box. Do not ammend any data in the box once it is pasted (unless you delete all and paste again)
- You can then select some options at the bottom:
- Delete existing entires not in list - removes anyone in the system that is not uploaded, useful for managing an event on bulk, where you create the shoot once with initial entries and then have a lot of updates
- Overwrite Previous Archers - (Ticked by default) this will overwrite the settings of archers with the same bib number. useful if you have made a lot of edits to base data. Unticking this will cause the archers to be uploaded again so you end up with duplicates
- No Team update - if you upload with team codes and names, it will ignore any new team names for the codes you upload.
Press Load Athletes at the bottom of the screen to load the imported list and you will get the status of uploaded, deleted and changed data lines.
Athletes Discrepancies
If you have the ability for athletes synchronisation to a federation database this will show if the athelte data you have in any way is different to the athlete data from the federation. (i.e. club names, dates of birth or name spelling)
Change Nations Names
Here you can correct the name of a club/region/area once against its identifier and it will change for all the participants with that club id number set.
Country/Club Image Management
Here you can set and update the image for a club.
Clicking on the club ID will open a page where you can upload an SVG (middle box) or upload a PNG/JPEG in the right-side box .
Once you press Update you will be taken back to the management page and the logo should show in the list.
